Morgadio da Calçada - Terraces of tradition, vines of modernity

Morgadio da Calçada wines are born in the green plateau of the Douro wine region, in the historical village of Provesende, in the subregion of Cima Corgo. Due to its location the wines that are produced here are cooler, more open and elegant in general. Dirk Niepoort, winemaker of Morgadio da Calçada wines describes them as wines that are not "worked with much wood. They are not heavy (...) they are wines that taste good to drink, fresh, simple and elegant". The range of Morgadio da Calçada wines is composed by white, red and Port wines. Available to order!
