Port wine is undoubtedly one of the most appreciated wines in the world. With centuries of history it is on the banks of the Douro River that this magnificent nectar is cultivated and produced. Quinta das Lamelas is a family business initiated in 1836 and still today engaged in producing high quality Douro and Port Wines. This estate is known for its 10, 20, 30 and 40 years Old Tawnies and White Port wines and the Vintage, produced in exceptional years. Dated port wines (white and Tawnies) are the result of a blend of wines that ripen in wooden casks at an average of 10, 20.30 and 40 years respectively while vintage wines are produced from grapes of a single year. Quinta das Lamelas vintage 2017 was awarded the Prestige prize by Paixão pelo vinho magazine. Available to order!
